I'm want to share that my magical portal effect was awarded Third Place in the challenge by SideFX
The entire project was built around a procedural pipeline:
– Geometry and textures created in Houdini
– Animation driven by Pivot Painter in the shader in Unreal Engine
– Timing, polish, and visual effects handled through Niagara and custom shaders
